“Woodwind was an alternative newspaper intended to foster 'an optimistic sense of community through the arts' in Washington, D.C. This issue includes a report on the tribulations faced by co-founder Michael Schreibman in attempting to present concerts at the L'Enfant Theatre and the need for a youth-friendly music venue in the D.C. area; M.
